Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Auto Autos platform: this website (autoautos.club), the garage dashboard at garage.autoautos.club, and the Auto Autos customer app for iOS and Android (together, the "platform"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

2. What Auto Autos is

Auto Autos is a platform that lets car-care businesses — garages, detailers, storage, and concierge services ("garages") — sell maintenance subscriptions to their customers. Auto Autos is not a garage. When a customer subscribes to a plan, the contract for the underlying car-care services is between the customer and the garage. We provide the software that connects them: plans, subscriptions, bookings, vehicle logs, reminders, and payments.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Garages may add staff accounts and are responsible for their staff's use of the platform. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the platform or its users at risk.

4. Terms for garages

• Verification. Garages are verified by us before they can take customers. We may decline or revoke access at our discretion.
• Your customers, your contract. You are the merchant for every subscription you sell. You set your plans, tiers, and prices, and you are solely responsible for delivering the services they promise, for the quality of your work, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business — including consumer protection and tax obligations.
• Payments. Payments are processed through your own Stripe account via Stripe Connect, subject to Stripe's own terms. Payouts go directly to you on Stripe's schedule; customer money never sits in an Auto Autos account.
• Platform fee. Auto Autos automatically deducts a fee of 5% of each subscription payment. Stripe's payment-processing fees apply separately. There is no monthly fee, setup fee, or minimum term. We will give you reasonable advance notice of any change to the fee.
• Refunds and disputes. Refunds, chargebacks, and disputes with your customers are between you and them; you are responsible for resolving them and for any associated costs.

5. Terms for customers

• Your subscription is with the garage. The garage — not Auto Autos — is responsible for carrying out the work covered by your plan. Complaints about the work itself should be raised with the garage.
• Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically and are charged to your payment method through Stripe. Prices are set by the garage and shown before you subscribe.
• Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time from the app; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless the garage's plan says otherwise. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected by these terms.

6. Content

Garages and customers may upload content such as logos, photos, and job notes. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant us a licence to host, display, and process it as needed to run the platform. You must have the rights to anything you upload, and you must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, or infringes anyone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

• Don't use the platform for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading.
• Don't interfere with the platform's operation or attempt to access other users' data.
• Don't scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the platform without our written permission.
• Don't circumvent the platform fee by moving subscription payments arranged through the platform off it.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform available and improving, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or discontinue features, and we'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the service. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified through the platform or by email, and continued use after they take effect means you accept them.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for the acts or omissions of garages or customers, for the quality of any car-care work, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you in connection with the platform is limited to the fees we received from you (for garages, the platform fees we deducted) in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects consumers' statutory rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, unlawful activity, or risk to the platform or its users. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (including content licences needed for record-keeping, liability limits, and governing law) continue to apply. Active subscriptions between garages and customers are handled through Stripe and the garage's own arrangements.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — although if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws, and the right to bring proceedings in the courts, of the country where you live.
